THE SIXTH SENSE

I do not like horror movie, so I do not want to watch this movie at first. But I read THE SIXTH SENSE, so I thought that watching this movie helped me to understand deeper. Therefore, I would watch it. First, I was afraid of watching, but gradually I was brought this movie attraction. This movie is not only horror movie but also love story movie for example between doctor and patient, husband and wife, and mother and sun. The end is so shocking:-o After watching, I liked this movie. I recommend this movie;-)

2) RESPONDING TO THE PLOT: c) Was there a character especially inspiring, depressing or even frightening? Explain why.
I inspired Dr. Malcolm very much. Because he was so hard for his job and he loved his wife so much. He was not anxious about himself, and he looked people around him. Therefore, however, he was killed by his patient he did not notice it and even he would try to treat another new child. Moreover, he came back the house (may be) every day and he watched his wife even if he felt she ignored him. And he loved only her forever. I thought it was not good that he focused on his work but he was an ideal person.

Setting: Philadelphia

Point of View: This story is told from the third person.

Conflict: Cole sees ghost, but he does not want to see them.

Climax: Cole told his secret that he sees dead people to Dr. Malcolm, at first Dr. Malcolm could not believe it, but gradually he became to believe Cole’s secret. And Dr. Malcolm advised Cole to help ghosts. Then, Cole and Dr. Malcolm helped a girl, who was dead, they became more and more close. So Cole hinted Dr. Malcolm his state and finally he understood he was dead.

Symbol: “Ghost” is the symbol of the story. Cole sees ghosts, and at first he only hates them. But Dr. Malcolm, who is also dead appeared and he tried to treat Cole (because Malcolm did not notice his death.), little by little Cole believes Dr. Malcolm (even though Cole knew Dr. Malcolm was dead.), and the last Cole would tell his secret to his mother because Dr. Malcolm advised. Dead people changed Cold life and feeling, so “ghost” is symbol in this book.

Irony: Cole sees ghost but he did not want to see them and did not know why they come out around Cole. Dr. Malcolm was dead, but he did not understand it and he tried to treat Cole. They are irony.

Theme: The theme of this book is “thought”. Everybody in this book had their thoughts, and the thoughts gave them for living and doing something. Therefore, this book conveys the importance of the feeling and the thought.

4) REFLECTING ON THE STORY: a) How does the character’s life compare to your own?
Cole’s life is terrible for me and I cannot imagine his life. He always sees dead people and he did not tell his ability to anybody. Therefore, I thought he did not like being alone and he could not feel easy. If I were Cole, I cannot live like now and like him. May be I want to tell it and want people to understand me. It was too big problem, so if people say the secret or not was important.

Met Former Classmates

Last Friday, I met friend of mine who were same high school students and ate dinner. Some friends I met a few months ago, but the other did not meet since we graduated from the school, so we told a lot. Talking with these friends is so fun, therefore, we thought time pass so fast! This time we met was not long, so we plant the next time;-)

Prepare for A Coming-of-Age Ceremony

A few days ago, my mother and I went to a kimono shop, because I would attend a coming-of-age ceremony next year. When we arrived at the kimono shop, there was no visitor, so we could choose a long sleeves for a long time. Then, we found a good one and I decided it. Before I went to the kimono shop, I did not actually feel that I would be twenty-year-old this year, and I would attend a coming-of-age ceremony next year. (Even though I thought choosing a long sleeves was a little boring:-/) However, I went to the kimono shop and I chose a long sleeves, I did feel that I would reach a coming-of-age ceremony only next year! It is grad or a little sad I thought, and at the same time I thought that time passes so fast!!! I will try to take care of myself and I want to reach the memorable day in the best condition:-D

Go to Driving School

Now, I go to a driving school. Before I started to go to the school, I thought driving was not so difficult. But! it is so difficult for me(:-< I began it from spring vacation, but it was a mistake! Because there were a lot of students so I could not get appointments for skill training. So I could not get a license while spring vacation. Therefore, I am very busy now, because I go to AGU, participate in a badminton circle and work part-time job:-/ Now, it is a last stage so I am tenacious and I want to get a license soon!!!

My Favorite Video

I like this TV! She is Asami Usuda 25 year-old, and a Japanese model, actress and personality. Her style is very good, and her smile is so cute8:-) During watching this TV, I am entranced her attraction. I think a nice video gives people a power. Therefore, if you are depressed, you shall find some video and watch it!

COLD STONE

Yesterday, Sunday on the 16th of May, after part-time job, I went to Kamoi with my friend Mari because of searching for Poster Session. As it was Sunday yesterday, there are many many people in LaLaport YOKOHAMA. So when we reached COLD STONE, a lot of people waited in line for eating ice. There are a lot of kind ice, so we could not choose soon. After a long time, we chose each one, and the clerks started to make ours:-) They was makind and sanging. They enjoyed making them, I thought. The ice was so delicious and I became happy :-))))))))!!! After the resarch, we made a poster. To make a poster was so interesting. Therefore, I enjoyed meking a poster with talking☆ This day was very good day ;-)

My Favorite Music

Recently, I always listen to this music-Namida by FUNKY MONKEY BABYS- . This music says 'All things have mean' and 'Tears let you stronger'. I am a blubberer, so the phrase 'you can cry till you want to' gives me a feeling of security. If you get stuck now, you should listen to this music, and you will get power to do. This music PV is also wonderful:-)))))

Dinner with Co-workers

On the 11th of May, I ate dinner with my co-workers. They are both cook(it means not hall member) and student of university, one is the same grade and the other is 3rd grade. I did not have a chance like this, so I was a little surprised for the cause. As we were eating, the reason why they asked me for dinner became clear, they worried about me. Recently, I am gloomy in working, because I do not like a person who works together, and when I work part-time job my face expression is dark(I cannot notice it!). Therefore, they asked me how do you do part-time job, and they gave me a lot of information of the workplace. When I knew the reason of cause, I was very happy and I felt their affection:,-) So I got a little enthusiastic. Working part-time job is not easy, however, working part-time job is also joy like meet them:-)

Rented Many CDs!

As you know, I like listening to music very much and I listen to music every day! Then, I went to TSUTAYA on the 8th of May, I have not been to there for a long time, so I rented 9 CDs that day (5 albums and 4 singles). Arashi, AKB48, Ayaka, FUNCKY MONKEY BABYS, JUJU, Ikimonogakari, Kana Nishino and aiko. Then I can choose the music which I want to listen soon. How happy it is :-)))))))) I will enjoy listening to them.

My Family

My family consists of 5 members, Father, Mother, Older sister, Sister and me. Now I will introduce my family;-)
At first, Father, he is only a man in my family and his occupation is a golf teacher. His hobby is taking pictures and making Plamodel of trains, he is clever with hands so his works reach a high degree of perfection. He has a big heart, and I often think unity of my family is made up of his good-heartiness. But he is sometimes strict for us daughters, for instance he does not permit us to go out for late and of course stop at friends' home. Although he says Older sister and me to work part-time job and pay ourselves, so I sometimes do not understand his thinking:-()
The second is Mother, she is a short-tempered person(and it may be inherited me:-( ) and she is about 155cm and the smallest of my family. She always cooks a supper for us daughters before she goes to part-time job, so I sometimes do not like her unreasonable behave,but I feel her feeling of affection.
The third is Older sister, she is 2 years older and she is a 4th-year student. Her major is Japanese Literature so we are just the opposite! She is serious and she has a sense of responsibility. We often quarrel but I think we may understand each other.
The last is Sister, she is a senior high-school student. She is sometimes selfish, lively temperament and she acts alone. I had never belong to any sport club because I do not have athletic ability and I could not wake up early for morning practice, but she belonged to heavy gymnastics club at junior high school and now she belongs to tennis club, so these point merit respect.

Recently, each member has each work, so we do not have enough time to contact. However, we family go shopping when we are free, and travel during summer vacation. I value these contacts and I want to live in peace with them:-))

The Badminton Circle

I played badminton today, because of the circle activity. I belong to a badminton circle. The circle members are about 50 peoples, and the activities are about once a week, therefore, the activity is not so generous and the atmosphere is at home. These points are very good for me! From today, about 15 freshmen register as the circle member, then the circle consists of new members,but I wish I continued to enjoy playing badminton as ever:-D

My Favorite Actress

It is May from today! Recently, I do think time passes quickly, and I am very surprised it=:-o

Today, I would like to introduce my favorite actress. My favorite actress is Masasmi Nagasawa, who was born in 1987 in Shizuoka Prefecture, and won the grand prize of To-ho Cinderella audition in 2000 and she debuted in show business. She is so cute and so stylish(she is 168cm.), and I like her voice too. When I become to know an information of appearance of her, I will check the TV or the magazine as possible, watching her and seeing her picture is my healing:-) I want to be a cute and stylish girl like her!
